Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire Experienced Registered Nurses for our Clinton location on day and night shift!
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinician, team member, and professional practicing according to the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance (2004).
- Deliver evidence-based, safe, efficient, and family-centered care aligned with MercyOne Clinton Medical Center's Mission and Vision.
- Plan, assess, intervene, coordinate, and provide direct patient care using critical thinking skills.
- Communicate with physicians, ancillary caregivers, patients, and families regarding the patient’s plan of care.
- Provide holistic (body, mind, and spirit) nursing care based on MercyOne Clinton Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.
- Perform assessments including physical, psychosocial, nutritional, functional, safety, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
Requirements
- Active registration for Registered Nurse – Board of Nursing, State of Iowa.
- BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
- AACLS certification within one year of hire.
- PALS certification preferred.
- 2-4 years experience as a RN preferred.
- Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and assessment of patient conditions.
- Experience preferred.
- Personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring, inspiring and motivating others.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
