Experienced RN - Experienced Registered Nurse

The emergency department at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is staffed 24/7 with board certified physicians and advanced level practitioners, providing vital ambulance and emergency services to rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of emergency needs
• Certified as a Level IV Trauma Center by the Iowa Department of Public Health

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa
• Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization is preferred and strongly encouraged
• Continuous pursuit of professional nursing practice enhancement
• Membership in an appropriate professional nursing organization is recommended
• Mandatory Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Reporting Training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter
• Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing
