Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Harness) Second Shift – Millennium Space Systems

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improving production efficiency, and optimizing product quality.
• Maintains production schedules.
• Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs.
• Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate.
• Captures, analyzes, and presents data to make informed decisions.
• Represents manufacturing on production related issues.
• Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• More than 1 year of hands-on experience building wire harnesses.
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams.
• More than 1 year of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) preferred.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay & Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $96,900 - $131,100 per year. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
