Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Harness) Second Shift – Millennium Space Systems

About the role

Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space. Our missions have a direct impact to Global Security, like Missile Warning and Earth Observation.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality
• Maintains production schedules
• Makes staffing and cost analyses
• Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
• Represents manufacturing on production related issues
• Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• More than 1 year of hands on experience building wire harnesses
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams
• More than 1 year of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• Experience in the aerospace industry preferred
• More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) preferred

• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Summary Pay Range: $96,900 - $131,100
