Harness Technician B Second Shift - Millennium Space Systems

Position Responsibilities

• Wire harnesses assembly per NASA.STD.8739.4A
• Use of harness related tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, hot tweezers, etc.
• Testing wire harnesses with equipment such as high potential testers, multimeters, force gauges
• Assembly of electrical ground support equipment
• Test equipment setups
• Aids in performing second party verifications and visually inspect harness assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures
• Ensures product quality and conformance to specifications
• Documents non-conformances and associated rework/repair
• Maintains necessary certifications as required
• Performs incidental related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or Trade School training
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified MSS08014-102-SOP Rev B Harnessing Build Standard Practices and Inspection
• Experience working in 100,000 Class cleanrooms with ESD sensitive components
