Experienced Poker Dealer

Job Summary

Responsible for providing a memorable table games experience for guests while protecting the assets and following the Indiana Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls and standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates a particular table game.
• Shuffles decks of cards in a timely manner or operates an automatic shuffling device.
• Keeps track of hand totals, currency conversions to gaming chips, and other relevant information.
• Maintains and protects the bankroll at all times.
• Pays and takes in gaming chips proficiently.
• Fulfills regulatory, policy, and procedure requirements.
• Provides quality customer service to all guests.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Knowledgeable of poker rankings.
• Proficient in shuffling and pitching cards.
• Able to announce all pertinent information clearly.
• Capable of handling gaming chips efficiently.
• Compliant with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Able to provide excellent customer service.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have completed Dealer School or have at least six months of on-the-job experience within the last five years.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing (80% of the time).
• Sometimes lifting up to 30 lbs independently and more than 30 lbs with assistance.
• Uses hands to handle or feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
• Works in a noisy environment with occasional exposure to smoke.
