Experienced Pipe Crew

The Briar Team, Central Florida's top family-owned Site Development Construction company, is seeking hard-working and reliable individuals for Experienced Pipe Laborer positions (Leadman, Tail man, and Hillman) with immediate hire opportunities.

About the Role

As a Pipe Laborer, you will install underground pipes for residential and commercial projects. The role requires teamwork, outdoor work, and the ability to perform strenuous physical tasks. Job sites are located within a 60-mile radius of Central Florida, ranging from Palm Coast/Daytona Beach to Kissimmee/St. Cloud, with over 100 active projects. You must be able to drive to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites, materials, and tools.
• Cut pipe to required lengths using power tools.
• Install and repair wet and dry utility pipe, including sanitary and storm water, sewer structures, and pipe systems.
• Move pipe into trenches, lay pipe in trench, and assist with initial backfill.
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using appropriate tools and materials to ensure pipe passes required pressure tests.
• Read and shoot grade.
• Bevel using grinder or bevel machine.
• Attach MJ fittings and Mega lug kits.
• Dig holes, trenches, and shafts.
• Mix, pour, and level concrete.
• Follow health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Pass a drug test upon hiring.

Pay

$16–$23 per hour (based on relevant experience).

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed.
• 6:45 AM–4:45 PM.
• 40–55 hours per week.
• Full-time with overtime available.
• No overnights or over-the-road travel; no per diem pay.
