Experienced NY Litigation Attorney

Cerchione Hurowitz Law Group LLP, one of New York City's leading personal injury litigation firms, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our Law Department.

Responsibilities

• Draft dispositive and other substantive motions and opposition papers and prepare/edit other legal documents;
• Handle oral arguments;
• Effectively communicate with clients, adversaries, judges and court personnel;
• Manage an active caseload;
• Oversee the work of paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a New York law firm handling substantive motions;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong legal research skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational and case management skills;
• Ability to work under pressure, expeditiously and accurately;
• Thorough knowledge of CPLR, New York motion practice, and court operations in all metropolitan New York counties;
• Admission to practice in New York State.
