Responsibilities
- You MUST be able to manage your cases from beginning to end
- Must be able to delegate to and supervise the work of paralegals and assistants
- Review and approve drafts of probate documents for administrations, guardianships & estate-related litigation
- Draft substantive complaints, motions, oppositions, correspondence, and other pleadings for contested matters
- Draft and respond to interrogatories, subpoenas, and document requests
- Take and Defend Depositions
- Present Witnesses at Evidentiary Hearings
- Attend meetings and court hearings
- This is a mostly in-office, client-facing position
- You will be dealing directly with clients and responsible for communicating with other counsel
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Probate, Guardianship, and Adversarial Estate Litigation experience or enough to be Competent, Confident, and mostly Autonomous in this role
- You must be able to take a file from start to finish on your own
- Must be a member of The Florida Bar, of course!
- Bilingual English/Spanish

$135,000 - $165,000/year
