Experienced Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil litigation from case inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and the court.
• Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal advice throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all applicable court rules and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Nebraska and/or Iowa.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience; Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining high ethical standards.
