Experienced Lead Chimney Technician

About the role

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of chimney maintenance and repair, including installation, inspection, and cleaning. Must possess extensive knowledge of chimney systems and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Inspect chimneys and related systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Install new chimneys and related equipment as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff members.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in chimney maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using common tools and equipment used in chimney work.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing chimney issues.
