Responsibilities
- Support stack emissions testing operations.
- Conduct onsite stack emissions testing using wet chemistry and instrumental sampling methodologies.
- Train and mentor Project Scientists (Field Technicians) on field procedures, test methods, and calibrations using standardized training materials.
- Motivate the team and ensure productivity.
- Supervise and review equipment calibrations for pivots, control modules, and nozzles.
- Assist with pricing and deliverables, including proposal, test plans, and reports review.
- Serve as the company’s representative to interface with customers and regulatory (EPA) personnel.
- Uphold the highest standards of data quality and ethics.
Requirements
- Experience leading stack emissions testing projects in the field.
- Preferred experience with client interface, safety leadership, data collection, quality initiatives, and timely deliverables.
- Specific knowledge of instrumental and wet chemistry equipment operation, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, including overnight stays and travel.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, crouching, climbing ladders/stairs, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to distinguish between shades of color.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Positive attitude, ability to work well in groups, and desire to achieve goals and grow into leadership positions.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Hands-on experience as a field stack tester, preferably with QSTI certifications in methods 1-4.

Pay
The pay range for this role averages between $50,000 and $100,000 annually, based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations. Total compensation includes base salary and bonus plans.
