ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD TECHNICIAN (STACK EMISSIONS TESTING)

About the role

Responsible for conducting stack emissions testing in various environmental settings. This role requires proficiency in emission analysis techniques and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conducts emissions tests on industrial facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Prepares and analyzes data from emissions tests using specialized equipment.
• Documents findings and prepares reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safe working conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in emissions testing or similar field.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and report writing abilities.
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.

Skills

• Proficiency in emission analysis software.
• Experience with portable emission measurement systems.
• Basic understanding of atmospheric science.
