Experienced Employee Development Specialist – Structures
About the role
The Structures Instructor will deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in aircraft structures, materials, repair techniques, and corrosion control to New Hires and experienced mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures, lab demonstrations, and practical workshops on aircraft structures topics.
- Develop, review, and update lesson plans, course materials, lab exercises and assessments.
- Prepare and maintain training equipment, jigs, fixtures, and materials for hands-on labs.
- Absess student performance through written exams, practical evaluations, and progress reports.
- Teach students safe work practices and adherence to maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers, subject matter experts, and operations to continually improve training programs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft system or structures design, development and production.
- Experience performing aircraft structural and mechanical work.
- Experience training and/or mentoring in a technical environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of work time.
Qualifications
- Experience in Fighter Jet Structures procedures i.e. precision drilling, fastener installation/removal, bonding and grounding, torquing, safetying devices, etc.
- Experience transferring knowledge through formal or informal modes of training.
Skills
- Experience reading and interpreting Technical Data.

Pay
Summary pay range: $85,000-$115,000
