About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Handyman / Maintenance Craftsman who enjoys working with their hands and wants to stay in the field. This is a field position with steady year-round commercial work, a company van, and a fuel card. You handle the jobs while we manage scheduling, customer calls, dispatching, and paperwork to keep your calendar full.

Responsibilities

• Commercial carpentry and finish work
• Doors, frames, and hardware
• Drywall repair and painting
• Flooring and tile repairs
• Light plumbing
• Light electrical
• Ceiling and wall repairs
• Shelving and fixture installation
• Trim and millwork
• Punch-list work
• General building repairs
• Tenant improvements and small remodeling projects

Every property is different—one day you may be repairing a door at an office, the next handling drywall and trim at a retail location, or knocking out a punch list for a property manager. You assess the problem, figure it out, and get it done.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in commercial maintenance, construction, remodeling, carpentry, or skilled trades
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple trades
• Strong troubleshooting skills without needing constant direction
• Ability to read a job and understand what needs to be done
• Work cleanly and safely in occupied commercial spaces
• Professional communication with property managers and customers
• Pride in workmanship
• Reliable attendance and follow-through
• Valid driver’s license
• Your own everyday hand tools
