Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• 2–4 years’ parts counter experience
• Intermediate understanding of mechanical/parts aspects of vehicles
• Pass pre‑employment background test and drug screening
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Reliable and people‑oriented – enjoys interacting with people
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and responsible
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to perform frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing

Responsibilities

• Order or locate parts while providing timely service for customers and maximizing dealership profit
• Assist Service Technicians in ordering and pricing parts, including making vehicle keys
• Report to the Parts Manager
• Assist the Parts Manager with daily computer input as assigned
• Know and abide by all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other management‑determined procedures
• Track all parts back orders to expedite shipment times
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance
• Follow dealership safety rules and the Injury and Illness Prevention program
