Experience Associate - Children's Discovery Center

About the role

The Experience Associate, aka Funstigator, plays a crucial role in the Children's Discovery Center at Mosaic Life Care. This position is PRN status with variable shifts and pays starting at $15.76 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Promote memorable play experiences by directly engaging with children and their adults to maximize their learning and enjoyment in the Discovery Center.
• Aid visitors to the Discovery Store and Café by assisting with purchases, admissions, and fees for programs, memberships, and events through the ticketing and point-of-sale system.
• Control access to the Discovery Center by checking visitors in and guiding un-ticketed visitors to self-serve kiosks.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma is required.
• Valid Driver's License - Required if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
• One year of customer service experience, including cash handling, is required.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: movement, music, storytelling, visual arts, health, STEAM, ropes/challenge course elements, and team building.
• Early childhood and/or elementary program/camp counseling experience is a plus.
