Responsibilities
- Maintaining patient records and updating medical histories
- Performing complete radiographic procedures and intraoral photography
- Conducting periodontal charting and preparing instruments for provider exams
- Assisting with infection control, sterilization, and clinic cleanliness
- Providing preventative care such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and supporting mobile/school-based programs
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures, including records, models, and retainer fabrication
- Performing other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Oregon EFDA certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) at a high proficiency level
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and instruments
- Strong manual dexterity and basic computer skills
