Responsibilities
- Support chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Update patient records
- Perform X-rays and intraoral photography
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed
- Assist with periodontal care
- Provide education to patients
- Assist with orthodontic treatments
- May assume lead duties, including training and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Educational certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant within 90 days
- BLS certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and manual dexterity
- Proficiency in electronic records and basic computer skills
