Responsibilities
- Taking X-rays
- Periodontal charting
- Assisting with exams
- Providing preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants
- Maintaining patient records
- Preparing instruments
- Supporting infection control protocols, including sterilization and autoclaving
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures
- Offering oral health education
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Oregon EFDA certification
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish/Cantonese/Vietnamese) preferred
- Strong manual dexterity, professionalism, and patient interaction skills
