Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Supporting patient care, recordkeeping, and imaging procedures
• Assisting in infection control and sterilization processes
• Providing oral hygiene education and preventive care
• S supporting orthodontic procedures and other assigned tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GEDEFDA certification within 90 days of employment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at a high proficiency level
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, materials, and infection control
• Strong manual dexterity and computer skills, including electronic records
• Professional interaction with patients, staff, and providers
