Requirements / Qualifications

Education:

• High School Graduation or equivalent (required)
• Must meet one of the following requirements:
• - 48 semester college units required (provide transcripts)
• - Pass District Paraeducator Exam
• - Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate)
• - College Associates degree or higher

Experience:

• Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children
• Experience working in an educational setting (desired)
