Exercise Physiologist

Job Functions

• Counsels patients on healthy lifestyle habits, nutrition, and exercise techniques to optimize therapy results
• Conducts fitness evaluations and functional assessments to identify individual needs, limitations, and any potential risks exercise may pose
• Develops customized exercise programs based on prescribed goals, including cardiopulmonary training, strength training, flexibility exercises, and rehabilitation protocols
• Administers breathing exercises, dyspnea management, therapeutic exercises, psychosocial assessment/management, work simplification strategies, and assistive technologies
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with all applicable rules, regulations, and procedures for safety management and infection control
• Schedules patient’s appointments for diagnostic and respiratory care services
