About the role
The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation, a division of Mass General Brigham, seeks an experienced Exercise Physiologist to lead the Spaulding ExPD Program. This role requires a deep understanding of exercise programs tailored to cardiac rehabilitation and other exercise programs.
Responsibilities
- Assessments – Conduct executive physicals and health fit assessments, stress tests, and recommend lifestyle physical activity.
- Coordinate and provide special expertise to staff, patients, and families in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and other Exercise Programs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, advise on nutrition, and teach classes.
- Document thoroughly and legibly in charts for review by providers, following hospital and department procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology, or Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology preferred.
- No experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from various issuers preferred.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital/cardiac rehabilitation program for 2-3 years preferred.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, knowledge of acceptable ranges of vital signs, strong customer service mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Pay and Benefits
