About the role
As an Executive Recruiter, you'll own senior leadership hiring on the ground in the US for a global enterprise software company. Embedded directly within the client, you represent their executive hiring team in the US. This is a high-visibility seat with full ownership of US executive search. You run senior director, VP and EVP searches end to end: sourcing, deep interviewing, complex multi-part offer negotiation, and senior stakeholder management.
You report into an experienced, executive-hiring leadership team, and you're supported by established infrastructure of tooling, rewards, and coordination to provide an exceptional experience to Executives. You operate solo in the US and carry the standard for how executive hiring runs there.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of executive searches end to end, senior director and above, around seven live roles at a time across product, technology and strategic commercial hiring.
- Source executive talent directly and build pipelines that reach passive senior leaders, rather than waiting on inbound.
- Run rigorous executive interviews and assessment yourself, forming your own view on each candidate rather than administering a process someone else designed.
- Led complex, multi-part offer negotiations across base, bonus and equity, partnering with the reward team on package design.
- Represent the executive hiring team on the ground in the US, managing senior stakeholders across regions and time zones and pushing back with evidence when a search needs recalibrating.
- Operate autonomously and make the call in the moment when a hire is on the line.
Requirements
- A track record as a through-and-through executive recruiter, owning senior director, VP and EVP searches. You have owned outcomes, not handed off candidates.
- Executive gravitas and presence. You hold your own with senior stakeholders, carry a room, and push back credibly at a senior level, with concrete examples to show for it.
- Enterprise scale and complexity. You understand global organization and you're used to hiring managers and candidates spread across multiple regions.
- Deep, advanced interviewing. You personally run rigorous executive assessment and form your own judgement.
- Comfort with complex offer negotiation across base, bonus and equity.
- Independence and autonomy. You operate solo, represent the team, and need minimal hand-holding.
- Confidence and resilience in a high-visibility, high-exposure seat.
Benefits
- US-based in or around Atlanta, able to be onsite regularly. Three days per week is the ideal; two days acceptable for the right person.
