About the Role
The Executive Director supervises and manages the treatment program they directly oversee as Program Director, in addition to providing oversight for 3-6 additional programs (RTC and OP). This includes oversight of all facilities functions, staff, and patients.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and ensures quality across all aspects of the 3-6 programs managed, driving continuous improvement.
- Conducts weekly treatment team meetings at each location to ensure consistent communication, proper oversight of patient progress, and a team-based approach.
- Communicates with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care at admission, midpoint, and discharge.
- Facilitates patient transfers to higher levels of care as needed.
- Participates in clinical outreach and facilitates program tours.
- Provides on-call support to the facility and coordinates with the On-Call Administrator.
- Ensures timely and effective communication with home office departments.
- Facilitates Multi-Family, Family Program, and/or Family Weekend sessions.
- Oversees timekeeping for clinical employees, ensuring timely submission of timecards and reporting errors to payroll.
- Manages the patient intake process, including paperwork, consents, and communication with the home office.
- Oversees the patient discharge process and assigns duties to milieu staff.
- Participates in weekly treatment team meetings, documenting notes and creating treatment team overviews for staff review.
- Coordinates and communicates weekly community outings for approved patients.
- Manages patient charts and facilitates audits in a timely manner.
- Ensures proficiency in all Joint Commission and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Oversees weekly kitchen audits, food rotation, and sanitation.
- Monitors the budget and communicates facility overages to Operations.
- Maintains the facility and reports environment of care issues to the home office.
- Oversees maintenance of the facility vehicle.
- Performs or assigns emergency drills and completes appropriate documentation.
- Obtains training and login for state CHRIS and CONNECT systems (Virginia State Only).
Requirements
- Three years of management experience.
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Two years of mental health experience in a residential or hospital setting.
- Current Driver’s License in good standing.
Pay
$100,000–$105,000 salary.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday.
