Executive Producer

The Mission FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for a decisive, cool-under-pressure Nightside Executive Producer to lead our evening newscasts and streaming platforms. We cover one of the most news-rich markets in the country, and we need someone who loves the rush of live, dynamic coverage and knows how to win on every screen—broadcast, web, app, and social.

Responsibilities

• Lead producers, anchors, reporters, and digital teams through daily editorial meetings, live coverage, and post-show debriefs.
• Spot developing stories, adapt quickly, and get live updates out across broadcast and streaming platforms immediately.
• Mentor newsroom talent with clear, real-time feedback that makes storytelling better every night.
• Keep scripts, graphics, teases, and push alerts sharp, ethical, accurate, and visually compelling.
• Work closely with newsroom leadership to build strategy, grow audience, and meet goals.

Requirements

• Proven track record leading evening news and streaming coverage in a TV newsroom.
• Quick, confident decision-making when major news or severe weather hits.
• Deep understanding of streaming, digital strategy, social media, and AP style.
• Excellent communication, a calm demeanor under deadline pressure, and a passion for great storytelling.
• Ready to work nightside hours, including weekends and holidays when big news calls for it.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $75,000.00–$85,000.00 annually.
