About the role

The Executive Housekeeper at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, and promoting a positive guest experience. This role involves developing budgets, managing staff, and maintaining safety and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the hotel's housekeeping budget and labor cost plans
• Plan and execute short and long-term housekeeping strategies
• Teach and mentor employees on guest service and handling special requests
• Ensure compliance with safety and security policies and procedures
• Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations
• Inspect rooms regularly and ensure the inspection program is maintained
• Manage staff schedules to meet customer service goals
• Coach and counsel employees to align with Hyatt service standards
• Handle turndown services and special needs of guests
• Adhere to OSHA and ADA policies

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
• Experience with purchasing housekeeping supplies and technology
• Ability to teach and supervise multilingual and multicultural staff
• Current on latest housekeeping and laundry practices
• Experience with turndown service and special guest needs

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
• At least 3 years of progressive hotel rooms management experience, preferably with Hyatt
• Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills
• High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and exceptional customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

Skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to improve the bottom line through strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge of OSHA and ADA policies

Pay

The salary range for this position is $73,000 - $83,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
