Executive Housekeeper (Part Time)
Job Summary
This is a part-time position. The executive housekeeper performs a variety of housekeeping duties for the residence of the President of Rensselaer in accordance with established standards and procedures. The executive housekeeper will periodically inventory supplies and equipment; investigate new and improved cleaning instruments and make recommendations to the House manager.

Responsibilities
- Cleans floors, washes windows, cleans, dusts, and polishes indoor surfaces (door panels, and sills, walls, etc.)
- Cleans, sanitizes, and replenishes bathrooms.
- Does dishes, puts away groceries, takes out the trash.
- Does laundry and provides cleaning services during special events held at President’s residence.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated stable work history is required, along with One year experience in professional/residential cleaning services including training to operate cleaning machines
- Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
Qualifications
- Valid US driver license preferred

Pay
Starting Salary/Rate
Expected hiring range: $20.00 - $22.15
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate’s salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m
Travel
Local travel between campus locations only
Driving
Preferred: Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use
