Executive Director, Regional Employment

About the role

The Executive Director, Regional Employment is responsible for leading a team that drives regional employment initiatives, including job creation, workforce development programs, and community engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional employment initiatives and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Develop and implement workforce development programs tailored to local needs.
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance job creation and economic growth.
• Manage a team of professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
• Represent the organization at various community events and forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in employment services or related field.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Strong understanding of labor market trends and workforce development strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning and project management.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
