About the role
This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the RWD Innovation Center, defining mission, governance, and operating model from the ground up
- Set strategic vision for BMS Medical's engagement with the RWD ecosystem, incorporating new data models and AI workflows
- Serve as the enterprise authority on RWD strategy and data connectivity for Medical leadership and partners
- Build an end-to-end capability for Global Medical in RWE generation and publication
- Own the data connectivity architecture for Global Medical, mobilizing internal and external data sources
- Drive a culture of continuous innovation around emerging data and AI-driven tools
Qualifications
- Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Sciences, or related RWE field (advanced degree PhD or equivalent preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in real-world evidence, epidemiology, or health data science in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical setting
- Deep expertise in RWD database ecosystems including claims, EMR/EHR, registries, and global specialty sources
- Proven experience building or managing TA or enterprise-level data access programs
- Track record of building new functions or capabilities in large organizations
- Strong executive presence and communication skills

Compensation: $254,530 – $308,434 annually
