About the role

The Northwest Bank Executive Director of Private Banking will oversee the Private Bank offering, including multiple direct reports across various geographies. This role interacts with leaders across different segments of Northwest Bank to enhance cross-referral processes and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain the Private Bank team in key strategic markets.
  • Establish and enhance core business metrics to meet or exceed annual plans and budgets.
  • Perform market analysis to improve the client experience and generate revenue from key services such as Depository, Lending, and Investment Management.
  • Collaborate with various business line leaders to ensure a consistent Wealth Management experience.
  • Create and maintain competitive Private Bank offerings and deliver them in a proactive manner.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to develop internal and external brand recognition and sales materials.
  • Manage the Private Bank pipeline and activities to achieve revenue and budgetary goals.
  • Stay updated on markets, investments, and private banking products/services, as well as competitor offerings.
  • Lead internal training sessions about the Private Bank offering and Wealth Management Group products/services.
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other relevant software to maximize technology tools and increase efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to provide integrated client solutions.
  • Identify new client segments or product opportunities, such as family offices, entrepreneurs, and cross-border clients.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for client complaints, disputes, or compliance issues.
  • Participate in talent calibration, succession planning, and compensation decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MS, MBA) preferred.
  • More than 15 years of financial services experience.
  • At least 8-12 years of wealth management and private banking experience.
  • Licenses and certifications: CTFA upon hire, CFP upon hire, FINRA SIE upon hire, Series 6 upon hire, Series 7 upon hire.
