About the role

Branches Portland and Salem is seeking an Executive Director to provide leadership and strategic planning for the services programs offered at the facility. The role ensures programs meet community needs and facility performance goals, oversees administrative processes and management systems, maintains a therapeutic environment, and develops and implements treatment programs.

Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital, and Branches outpatient services program serves adults facing acute behavioral health crises related to mental health, substance abuse, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders. Programs aim to provide lasting mental health rehabilitation and re-establish a high quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and strategically plan services programs to meet community needs and facility performance goals.
  • Oversee administrative processes and management systems for all services offered.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment within the facility.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or a related mental health field preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years in the psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of 3 years in advanced clinical or management practice.
