Executive Director, Imaging Services
About the role
Provides clinical and administrative oversight to facilities.
Strategically evaluates and improves policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices consistent with the organization’s goals and all regulatory requirements and standards.
Oversees standardization of staff orientation, competencies, staffing model, and training programs across multiple care settings and promotes system efforts in talents recruitment and retention.
Serves as advisor, liaison and /or educator to facility service line leaders and team members, radiology group physician leadership, corporate ancillary council and region’s executives.
Participates in corporate ancillary governance council and ensures standardized oversight and management of imaging and biomedical equipment assets across the region.
Directs program development and strategic planning by formulating, implementing, and sustaining new business development strategies.
Evaluates and develops programs for each service line.
Analyzes market strengths / weaknesses of current programs.
Identifies opportunities for service line expansion, promotes growth in established and new service areas.
Oversees global financial performance management of the related service line by supporting annual divisional fiscal budget process in continuous financial improvement by integrating internal and external best practices to develop divisional cost saving and revenue enhance initiatives.
Takes actions to resolve deficient operational conditions or problems, changes in work pattern, personnel and patients, and the services issues for corrective actions.
Manages applicable contracted vendor relationship and performance to ensure service accountability.
Evaluates risk to identify service contract consolidation or elimination in the financial interest of organization.
Advises facility administration regarding clinical equipment status, needs, technology, compliance, and cost.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

- Experience in Imaging service line operations, practices, and processes with demonstrating success track of records.
- Able to position the organization for the future, looking beyond the present situation to conceptualize key trends and identify changing market demands.
- In depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and mandates, and the ability to gather and evaluate data and outcome results.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively express ideas and views through public speaking, presentations, reports, and professional correspondence.
- Exceptional people management, leadership skills, and the capacity to relate to people in a manner that wins confidence and establishes support.
- Strong business acumen, intelligence, and capacity; able to think strategically and implement tactically.

- Knowledge of current issues in the healthcare environment preferred, particularly regarding the best practices in clinical operations, equipment assets management and regular compliance, healthcare quality measurement, outcomes studies, and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, radiology, engineering, or other healthcare clinical or technological related field.
- Master's degree in business, radiology, engineering, or other healthcare clinical or technological related field.
- 10+ years of clinical imaging experience.
- 7+ years in senior administrative of imaging type of service.
- 3+ years system leadership, with oversight of a tertiary or a large academic medical center (>500 beds) or in a health system with multiple entities.
- Exposure or experience in biomedical engineering service management.
- Experienced with a proven success in completion of complex and high impact clinical operations performance improvement projects by leading and managing healthcare operations, implementing quality improvement initiatives, driving patient-centered care, and realizing positive fiscal impact.
- Proven expertise in acute care, ambulatory care, with a comprehensive understanding of operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance, resulting in successful leadership and achievement of organizational goals.

Pay Range: $120,753.52 - $224,614.47
