About the role

The Executive Director provides overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organization. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care, this role oversees all aspects of PACE operations, including the primary care clinic, interdisciplinary care teams, provider networks, day health services, home care, transportation, therapeutic services, quality improvement, and 24-hour care delivery systems.

The Executive Director leads organizational planning, financial performance, growth initiatives, regulatory compliance, and workforce development while fostering a culture aligned with Trinity Health PACE's mission, values, and commitment to excellence. This position champions continuous quality improvement, member satisfaction, employee engagement, and positive clinical outcomes.

The Executive Director serves as the primary organizational representative with government agencies, regulatory bodies, elected officials, community partners, and contracted providers. This leader also collaborates with executive and clinical leadership to advance advocacy initiatives, influence healthcare policy, and build strategic partnerships that support the long-term success and sustainability of the PACE program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and operational plans.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
  • Oversee leadership recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Implement evidence-based programs that improve quality, safety, and care delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of senior healthcare leadership experience, including responsibility for healthcare operations and financial management.
  • Experience serving frail older adults and knowledge of managed care, regulatory requirements, and the continuum of care strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, financial, analytical, and relationship-building skills required.
