About the role
TerraBella Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to join the TerraBella New Bern community. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in senior living, health care, or hospitality, with a focus on operational excellence and resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the community in alignment with Owners/Board of Directors, Discovery Management Group, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate and embody a clear, customer-focused vision based on a resident-centered model of care.
- Build and maintain relationships within the local area to drive business growth and effectively price products to achieve market position.
- Develop and implement an external business development strategy, assigning clear accountabilities and articulating results.
- Earn a thorough understanding of state regulations, policies, and procedures affecting residents and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident administrative files in compliance with state regulations.
- Achieve financial targets, maximizing capital partners' return while meeting NOI and occupancy expectations.
- Manage all departments, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to the financial goals outlined in the approved Operating Budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of managerial experience, preferably in senior living, health care, or hospitality industries.
- Previous management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and discipline.
- Previous sales experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses.
- Administrator License/certification.
- Provides leadership by exhibiting confidence, inspiring, and motivating others to perform well.
