Executive Director

About the Role

The Executive Director is the CEO of the community, overseeing the planning, direction, and implementation of all programs and policies. They ensure the efficient and effective administration and execution of the company business plan, maintain occupancy goals through marketing and public relations activities, and ensure resident satisfaction and achievement of care plan goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the evaluation and admission process to maintain occupancy goals.
• Coordinate all resident service activities and ensure the achievement of realistic care plan goals.
• Hire, train, and schedule community staff.
• Ensure the community operates in substantial compliance at all times.
• Model and promote the company’s core values.
• Create and drive a sales culture.
• Ensure the general well-being and health of residents.
• Coordinate care and services to residents, including oversight of nursing and care staff.
• Ensure appropriate staffing at all times with the right personnel in the right places.
• Seek out and reward top performers, while coaching others to improve.
• Manage all paperwork required by regulatory bodies and corporate regulations.
• Participate in direct marketing activities for residents, community services, and staff recruitment.
• Act as the responsible party during formal licensing inspections.
• Drive a company vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

• Meets all current requirements of the State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities.
• Two years’ post-secondary education required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role in senior housing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality.
• Demonstrated integrity, maturity, and leadership skills.
• Understanding of State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations.
• Acceptable driving record (required driver).

Pay

Salary range: $110,000-$130,000 per year
