About the role
We are seeking a creative and hardworking Executive Director of Operations to manage the community’s budget, occupancy goals, staffing levels, and overall customer service. The ideal candidate is driven, dedicated, goal-oriented, and possesses strong emotional intelligence with several years of management or healthcare experience. You will build and manage a loyal team while ensuring seniors live better, more comfortable lives.
Responsibilities
- Authorize all purchases and provide onsite sales support
- Conduct monthly family meetings
- Participate in the training and development of new employees, implementing initiatives to improve community efficiency
- Review bills and statements
- Analyze revenue projections and make adjustments when revenue sources decrease
- Manage the Sales Director and network with outside referral sources (e.g., hospital and rehab personnel)
- Qualify prospects financially using credit reports, bank statements, etc.
- Review occupancy as it relates to staffing
- Assist in hiring and recruitment processes
- Handle all resident and family grievances
- Demonstrate patience, understanding, empathy, and a commitment to ethical, honest leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, or Business preferred)
- 3-5 years of management or healthcare-related experience
- Experience in a managerial role responsible for multiple disciplines
- Budgeting and staffing experience
- Proficiency with Windows applications such as Excel and Outlook
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Pay
$134,000 base salary plus lucrative bonus potential.
