About the role
The Hideo Sasaki Foundation Board of Trustees seeks a strategic and collaborative Executive Director.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the foundation’s long-term financial sustainability and mission impact.
- Report directly to the Board of Trustees, responsible for overall operational responsibility for the foundation’s mission, management, programs, and partnerships.
- Lead the foundation’s day-to-day operations and support the board’s strategic planning initiatives.
- Combine field credibility with strong financial and operational leadership.
- Show a deep commitment to building a human-centered workplace.
- Show a track record of strengthening and demonstrating organizational value.
- Contribute ideas for the foundation’s future direction through collaboration with the Board of Trustees.
Requirements

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Experience leading a non-profit organization.
- Strong financial and operational skills.
- A deep understanding of the foundation’s mission and ability to align strategies with that mission.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees.

Pay
Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually.
Schedule
The Executive Director will be based in the United States and will work full-time.
