A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make
This Executive Consultant manages the highest executive relationship with the client and is responsible for guiding the entire project. They also serve as the overall Program Manager and may have additional Lead Consultants/Project Managers reporting to them, depending on the size and complexity of the engagement.

What You’ll Do
This Executive Consultant is primarily responsible for leading large complex client engagements, coaching executives, becoming a trusted advisor, expanding the scope and breadth of the client engagement, and assuring that their team can deliver our primary Consulting solutions with excellence.
- Coach client executives and become their trusted advisor
- Fluently deliver DEKRA’s Executive Leading with Safety® program as well as other solutions
- Track progress in meeting client objectives and adjust when necessary
- Guide and facilitate governance
- Communicate routinely and effectively to the client leadership team
- Understand the client’s objectives and needs to then adapt the centerline model for the client engagement that will give greatest probability of achieving success
What You’ll Bring
- 15+ years of experience in leadership roles including executive experience with safety responsibility
- Advanced degree or Certification preferred
- Presence in front of C-suite Leaders
- Demonstrated cognitive flexibility
- Ability to function with ambiguity
- Deep knowledge of DEKRA solutions
- Ability to interpret the impact of non-safety processes on safety and culture
- Ability to develop a strategic plan which supports the scope of work and overall safety excellence
- Ability to manage client excellence and DEKRA business
- Ability to create a project team culture that supports and aligns with OSR values
- Fluency with various Governance structures and how they “fit” and function in various situations
- Fluency with Metrics and the ability to propose specific metrics for the client
- Fluency in applying effective change management
- Fluency in SMS best practices and ability to propose enhancements to close gaps
- Ability to lead a matrixed team
- Ability to develop others
Physical Considerations
- Must be able to work in a variety of client locations, environments, and conditions
- Must be able to accommodate working various shifts as client activities are scheduled
- Must be able to withstand the rigors of extensive travel
- May require difficult travel and long periods of driving
- Ability to move and conduct work with full range of motion
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs (luggage)
- Extended periods of computer-based work
- Extended periods of standing
Travel Considerations
- Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 50%
Compensation
The base pay for this position is $185,000 annually to $225,000 annually. This position is designated as bonus eligible, subject to plan terms and conditions. Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
