Responsibilities
- drafting and analyzing equity and non-equity incentive compensation arrangements, deferred compensation arrangements, employment agreements, and severance and change in control arrangements
- preparing the compensation and benefits-related portions of securities filings required by the SEC
- identifying and solving executive compensation and benefits related issues that arise in the context of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and other corporate transactions
Requirements
- Superior academic credentials
- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team, but also handle significant individual responsibilities
Qualifications
- Midlevel associate (3rd to 6th year)
- Experience in drafting and analyzing equity and non-equity incentive compensation arrangements, deferred compensation arrangements, employment agreements, and severance and change in control arrangements
- Experience in preparing the compensation and benefits-related portions of securities filings required by the SEC
- Experience in identifying and solving executive compensation and benefits related issues that arise in the context of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and other corporate transactions
Pay
The salary range in Newport Beach for this role is $260,000 - $390,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
