About the role
The firm is seeking a talented Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Counsel clients on executive compensation plans and incentive programs
- Negotiate and draft employment and severance agreements
- Address labor and employment issues arising in transactions
- Support the executive compensation and benefits aspects of M&A deals
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters
- Experience advising on matters in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Prior experience at a large law firm preferred, though exceptional candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered
Pay
$260,000 - $365,000
