Executive, Client Services
About the Role
Whalar is the leading, most awarded, independent Creator and Social agency. We transform brands into cultural drivers by unlocking the full creative power of Creators. The Client Services team has ultimate responsibility for the creative output of client campaigns, ensuring smooth execution and maintaining a helicopter view over all parts of the campaign process. The team works with expert teams and specialist partners (both internally and externally) to bring a brand’s creative vision to life, acting as gatekeepers of this vision and guardians of the brands we work with.
The team has three core functions:
- Manage client relationships, creator partnerships, budgets, and timings across any executional workflows.
- Act as the central resource that brings in the right expertise at the right time, facilitating collaboration.
- Facilitate client retention and satisfaction through quality creative output and excellent operational and servicing standards.
Responsibilities
- Creator Sourcing: Source, gather information and demographics, and vet creators across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and more.
- Creator Management: Build strong relationships with creators throughout a campaign cycle and beyond, from outreach, negotiations, ECHO onboarding, and contracting to creator briefing, creative concept review, content gatekeeping, content scheduling, and campaign feedback loops. This may also include managing product logistics for a campaign.
- Creative Briefing: Develop and issue creator briefs, immersing creators into the campaign, and lead day-to-day communications for content development.
- Content Review & Quality Control: Be the first point for review of all creator content. Check for ASA and IP compliance, alignment with brief, and quality of content, and create an efficient feedback loop back to creators.
- Content Scheduling & Monitoring: Create a posting schedule and keep it up to date throughout the campaign period. Monitor posts once they are live to ensure accuracy and flag any negative sentiment.
- Campaign Performance: Work closely with the Manager on overall campaign success, including updating campaign trackers consistently, timeline management, budget management, data capture, and wrap reports.
- Act as a cultural pulse of all things creator economy—live and breathe social media, consuming and presenting back trends and new discoveries.
