About the role
Build, source, and plan recipes that meet athlete, staff, coach, and owner nutrition needs, focusing on nutrient-dense foods to support athletic performance and recovery. Understand and demonstrate knowledge of athlete nutrition needs and demands.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team registered dietitian on a regular basis, as part of the multidisciplinary approach to athlete health, to plan and modify menus reflecting specific team and athlete needs based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) season timing, competition location, injury status, positional needs, etc.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience, including 4+ in culinary management
- Skilled in menu development, inventory, P&L, and cost controls
- Experienced in delivering personalized experiences and addressing diverse dietary needs
- Strong background in hiring, training, and mentoring culinary teams
- Expertise in menu innovation, food safety, sanitation, and sustainability standards
