Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer, Commercial Business

About the role

The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and operational support to a Senior Vice President and multiple Vice Presidents.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff meetings, leadership meetings, all-hands meetings, offsites, and executive reviews, including agenda planning, pre-read coordination, action item tracking, follow-up ownership, and closure of next steps.
  • Own executive calendar; coordinate across senior executives, business partners and team members by prioritizing schedules and qualifying requests.
  • Proactively solicit agendas and manage attendee lists.
  • Cook up logistics for travel by developing itineraries, booking domestic and international flights, arranging transportation and accommodation.
  • Leverage Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other approved productivity tools to streamline workflows, summarize information, prepare meeting materials, track follow-ups, and improve executive efficiency.
  • Provide vacation coverage for other EAs as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve recurring administrative processes, communications, meeting routines, and team operating cadences.
  • Manage a wide range of administrative and executive related tasks, including drafting routine correspondence and organizing/maintaining electronic files, updating distribution lists, onboarding new hires, creating/updating organizational charts, expense approvals, creating PR/PO and coordinating AV and IT requirements for meetings.
  • Reconcile expenses in a timely manner adhering to Sandisk’s global expense policies.
  • Anticipate needs and identify problems proactively, looking around corners for solutions and using existing resources in problem-solving.
  • Provide assistance with formatting, editing, creating, and consolidating executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, meeting agendas, and office documents with strong attention to clarity, accuracy, and visual polish.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills are highly preferred.
  • Interact regularly and build trusted relationships with executives, Finance leaders, business partners, team members, and colleagues across functions.
  • Partner closely with other Executive Assistants to coordinate priorities, resolve calendar and logistics conflicts, provide coverage, share best practices, and ensure a smooth operating rhythm across the leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience required) and 5+ years supporting an SVP.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
  • Experience working in a support role with C-suite administrative staff is preferred.
  • Comfort using AI-enabled productivity tools responsibly to improve organization, communication, meeting preparation, document creation, and follow-up tracking.
  • Strong digital fluency and curiosity; able to quickly learn new tools and help the broader team adopt better ways of working.
  • High-ownership mindset with strong follow-through, accountability, and the ability to close loops without repeated direction.
  • Intuitive problem-solver with thoughtful anticipation of deliverables.
  • Bias for action; able to move quickly, make priority calls, manage ambiguity, and drive work to completion across stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive in identifying better ways of achieving goals.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with the ability to partner effectively with Finance leaders, business partners, team members, and other Executive Assistants.
  • Demonstrates leadership.
