About the role
The Executive Assistant will provide proactive, efficient and high-quality administrative and executive support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Affairs (PVC Global Affairs).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the PVC Global Affairs diary, meetings, travel, communications and committee responsibilities.
- Provide planning and coordination support for strategic initiatives and projects that advance UAL’s international partnerships, global reputation and institutional priorities.
- Work closely with the Executive Dean’s office, Global Affairs leadership team, Global Engagement and Study Abroad offices, and colleagues across the University, coordinating operational planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement activities.
Requirements
- Significant experience of supporting senior leaders.
- Confident in managing complex diaries and travel coordination, committee servicing and coordinating senior-level meetings.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex environment, balancing competing priorities and anticipating needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative and executive support roles.
- Experience in supporting senior leaders in a higher education or similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
