Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex executive calendar, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule meetings, and oversee leadership events to optimize daily operations.
  • Prepare meeting materials, compile read-ahead documents, track action items, execute follow-ups, and lead special projects utilizing Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
  • Plan and execute corporate events, including offsite meetings, client engagements, conference agendas, and team morale activities.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between executives, staff, clients, and external partners while drafting high-level reports, presentations, and internal announcements.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred, combined with a minimum of five years of experience in administrative, office management, or executive support roles (ideally within a professional services sector).
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proven track record of managing competing priorities with sharp attention to detail while supporting personnel at all organizational tiers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 tools, with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential data discreetly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Support: Prior experience directly assisting senior executives or corporate leadership teams.

Preferred Attributes

  • GovCon Familiarity: Background working within government contracting environments, including collaborating with cleared personnel and managing sensitive information.
  • Content Creation: Hands-on experience developing executive-level presentations, briefings, and reports for strategic leadership discussions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior exposure to the National Security, defense, or federal contracting sectors.
