About the role

The Executive Assistant is a new role to provide personal, administrative and project support to the Artistic Director. The role requires an engaging, reliable person with excellent organisational skills, who has a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work across multiple projects. Energy, enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and attention to detail are key.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Artistic Director with administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining calendars.
  • Organise events and activities, ensuring logistical details are handled efficiently.
  • Assist in the coordination of marketing and promotional materials for the organization.
  • Manage the Artistic Director's schedule and travel arrangements.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Support fundraising efforts by assisting with event planning and communication.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of theatre and/or arts administration is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with event planning and coordination.

Pay

Circa £15,600 (part-time), equating to £26,000 full-time per annum.

Schedule

Based in Victoria, London, following government guidance.
