About the role
Appian's Marketing team is the strategic and creative engine driving our global brand and growth. We are seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and highly professional Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and help drive strategic projects across the marketing organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CMO’s dynamic calendar while seamlessly coordinating domestic and international travel and timely expense reports.
- Provide scheduling support for the broader marketing leadership team.
- Act as an operational partner during corporate and marketing planning cycles, tracking deliverables and managing timelines.
- Drive alignment across the company by orchestrating regular exec updates, monthly department meetings, and more.
- Optimize day-to-day operations across the marketing organization by proactively anticipating the leadership team’s needs.
- Partner with the CMO to drive key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects across the Marketing department from inception to execution.
- Act as a key partner to the CMO, keeping them proactively informed of upcoming commitments and priorities while ensuring seamless, timely follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a high-level executive assistant, marketing operations, or project management role, preferably supporting C-suite leadership in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Project & Time Management: A proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to balance competing priorities, track complex project timelines, and execute with flawless attention to detail.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech Savviness: Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, combined with an aptitude for quickly mastering new operational platforms, tools, and internal applications.
