Executive Assistant I (US)
About the Role
The Executive Assistant I provides dedicated administrative support to executives and may also provide a broad range of administrative or general office support for a broader team. This role reports to a TDBG Vice President (VP) and may support multiple VPs and AVPs along with their respective teams. The position involves handling varied assignments with limited complexity, resolving atypical or infrequent issues, and exercising discretion with sensitive or confidential material.
Responsibilities
- Provides high-level administrative support, ensuring quality service and professionalism at every interaction.
- Acts as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners.
- Manages information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains executives' schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
- Manages expenses and prepares weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports.
- Formats information for internal and external communication, including memos, emails, presentations, and reports.
- Takes minutes during meetings.
- Screens and directs phone calls and distributes correspondence.
- Supports the broader team by managing office supply inventory, equipment, and other processes as required.
- Prioritizes and manages workload to meet service-level agreement (SLA) requirements for service and productivity.
- Exercises discretion in managing correspondence and ensures documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant rules and regulations.
- Escalates non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Participates fully as a team member, supporting a positive work environment and timely communication of issues.
- Continuously enhances knowledge and expertise in own area and participates in knowledge transfer within the team.
- Contributes to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
- Proficiency gained through job-related training to perform a range of duties.
- Working-level knowledge of the business unit, operational functions, and regulatory requirements.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in formatting documents, presentations, and reports.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $32.69 - $49.04 USD per hour. TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities. The base pay offered may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other business needs.
Schedule
This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week.
